Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ResumeSpark Stay (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Notify us immediately at support@resumesparkstay.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Prices are in GBP and inclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
  • You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation stops future charges.
  • Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create misleading or fraudulent CVs.
  • Resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.

5. Intellectual property

You own the content you create. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to deliver the Service. The ResumeSpark Stay platform, brand, and templates remain our property.

6. AI-generated content

AI suggestions are provided "as is". You are responsible for reviewing and verifying every output before sending it to an employer.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time; your data will be deleted within 30 days of closure.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost job opportunities.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
